Founded in 1802, Saint Mary’s University is one of the oldest universities in Canada. Located in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, SMU is recognized for its academic excellence across a wide range of programs, which vary from business to computer science and engineering, to arts and social sciences. Experiential learning opportunities are available in almost every undergraduate program, allowing for a year of work experience during the degree, commonly paid work experience.
