Canada’s participation at the 2013 Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS), January 31 – February 2, included delegations from the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Québec. The Premier of Manitoba, Greg Selinger, delivered the keynote address at a panel discussion on “Adapting to the Impacts of Climate Change and Mitigating Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and Associated Co-benefits” on February 2. The Québec delegation included Minister of International Relations Jean-François Lisée and Minister for Industrial Policy and the Banque de développement économique du Québec Élaine Zakaïb. Former Premier Jean Charest also attended the event.
